Budget 2022-23 aims to make finance simpler for MSMEs hit by the pandemic by extending the Extension of Emergency Credit Line Plan (ECLGS) until 2023 and reforming the credit guarantee scheme. For exporters, the FM said that the Special Economic Zones Act (SEZ Act) will be replaced with new legislation that will allow states to collaborate with the industry.
