Edtech social entrepreneur focusing on economic development projects.

I Love the ‘eureka’ moment on the faces of learners, whether it’s in team building, technology or digital marketing, that instance of a complete connection for the learner fills me with my greatest sense of achievement. We create innovative solutions tailored to their technical and fiscal realities by integrating their current abilities with my more than two decades of experience.

When our grandchildren ask us what impact we had in our society, how we contributed in 4th industrial revolution, I hope we can say that we showed up and showed on time.

  • Scarcity of skills and youth unemployment!
  • Social equity and disparity from the cities to rural areas!
  • Abject poverty, child-headed homes! This fuels my passion for change.

I imagine a continent with a generation of knowledgeable laborers working to grow the economy, reducing poverty in Africa and putting it firmly on the 4th industrial revolution. How do we get there?

As a social entrepreneur and a lifetime learner, my desire to see equality, diversity and economic empowerment got me interested in STEAM Education. I have found a way to marry my interest in social welfare and desire to educate. It’s an honor to be part of this revolution.

Destination Imagination in Africa is an affiliate partner to Destination Imagination Inc. a global nonprofit organization which operates a head office from the USA. Our Africa model is applied through government and private sector partners in support of a more sustainable economic development intervention. Communities are capacitated to build and retain skills within the school structure this allows for generational impact. Funds are sourced from Corporate Social Investment budgets, Government Sector and Private Donors.

Until we get equality in education, we won’t have equal society.

Happy to collaborate and build #TheAfricawewant.
