Founder and Director of International Centre for Entrepreneurship & Career Development (ICECD), Ahmedabad, Gujarat, a unique organization for developing Small Micro Medium Enterprises, making over 2,00,000 men and women Entrepreneurs.

This centre is recognized as “Centre of Excellence” by the United Nations – ESCAP.

With a special focus on women, began the Women Entrepreneurship Development first time in India in 80’s. By now, over 10,00,000 women have been made entrepreneurs and the experience has been replicated in various Asian, African and Pacific countries.

Written a number of books on “Women Entrepreneurship Development” which have been translated into different languages – Hindi, Gujarati, Tamil, Marathi, Bengali, and Assamese. Also written “Women Entrepreneurship Development Training Book” for ILO, UN Commonwealth Secretariat. Recent book, “If I Can, You Can Be an Entrepreneur” published by Partridge Publications has reached out to thousands of women across the world.

More than 400 articles/ papers have been published in various national/ international journals and publications.

A unique school, Satyameva Jayate International School founded in the year 2000 is the only school in the world where students learn entrepreneurship from Std 1 to 10.

Worked as an Advisor, Consultant and Resource person to various Government Institutions, International, National Agencies like: The World Bank, United Nations organizations like UNDP; UNFPA; UNICEF; UNIFEM; ILO; Canadian International Development Agency, United States Agency for International Development, and many more.
