On 05 February a signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence (CCoE) and the Confederation of Indian Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, on behalf of the Global Technology Summit, will be held virtually on 5th Feb’2021. The MoU is an important step in reinforcing cyber safe businesses and other relevant actors connected to the cybersecurity system.

The Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence (CCoE) is a glocal hub based in Hyderabad to catalyse innovation, entrepreneurship and capability building in cybersecurity and privacy. It is a joint initiative of the Government of Telangana and DSCI setup to fulfil DSCI’s commitment towards creating a safe, secure and a trusted cyberspace.

CCoE objectives are to build best practices, standards and execute initiatives in cybersecurity and privacy domain. They nurture a culture of innovation by, incubating start-ups, conducting trainings/workshops/events, showcasing products in experience zone, hosting delegations and collaborating in local, national and international initiatives.

They will achieve these core objectives by creating engagements that align to our vision and mission.

The agreement highlights the role of cybersecurity in ensuring and protecting businesses of any size. It reinforces one of the priorities of CIMSME to engage in prudential dialogues and to support specialized training in promoting best practices, standards and execute initiatives in cybersecurity and privacy domain. Following the signing ceremony of the MoU, there will be a more elaborate discussion, with the presence of Dr. Sriram Birudavolu, CEO, Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence (CCoE) and other interested stakeholders.
