Senior Academic and Researcher with over 30 years of working experience acquired across a wide range of demanding roles within the education sector. Deputy Principal at a Full Service School serving as a Cluster Coordinator for Curriculum and Assessment chairperson. Professional Learning Committee chairperson for scaffolding and development of novice teachers, teachers in training and up skilling veteran teachers. A Passionate about advocating for learners’ educational needs by ensuring that their preferences are being met regardless of their backgrounds, learning styles or abilities. Nominated for National teachers awards representing Umlazi district in 2021 for Inclusive Education Ambassador. Currently the Inclusive Education, Provincial Academic Forum Executive (SADTU KZN) and Publications Board Member National (SADTU). A qualified Facilitator, Moderator and assessor for educational related programs and development in the Education Training and Development Program (ETDP) . Initiated the iCARE Club for Protec enabling youth to participate in Palliative Care, Pastoral Care and Environmental Awareness Campaigns at school and Community level. Outperformed at Umlazi District subject competition putting Amagcino Full Service on the Map for Best Learning Support Agent in KZN as a mentor. Developer of human asset at Province level.
