Vishal Kumar is passionate about working for MSME sector by providing growth-oriented guidance to various challenges being faced by MSMEs.
Vishal is a Chartered Accountant by profession and holds a Post Graduate degree in Business Management from IIM-Calcutta. He has had an illustrious career marked with distinctions in companies such as PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Asian Paints, Kellogg India, Wockhardt Limited, Cadbury India amongst others. Vishal also co-founded a MSME Business Advisory Startup in his entrepreneurial journey and served 20,000+ MSMEs in a short span of 2 years.
Vishal is currently leading the SME Business at M1xchange (a FinTech providing smart working capital solutions to MSMEs), and his key expertise lies in Business strategy, Business development and growth, setting business to reach scale, bring financial controls and compliances including managing Govt. relations and regulatory affairs.
Vishal’s career highlight, however, came when PricewaterhouseCooper put him on a key assignment with the Central Board of Excise and Customs (CBEC), Ministry of Finance, Government of India to co-lead the unique ‘GST Advisory and Support Project’. He had credited as one of the key members of the GST Strategy and Formulation team that brought about the remarkable Indirect tax reform in India.
