She is an entrepreneur (with a successful exit – previous startup acquired by an NBFC in India) and investor (Managing Partner at SSV). She has built startups from scratch, worked in private equity and also at Facebook – these experiences combined have enabled her to get a deep understanding of diverse sectors & how to scale and grow companies. Shrishti was on the Investment Team of Lumis Partners (a $250MM fund), a US & India based private equity fund that focuses on human capital & supply chain as verticals.
At Facebook, she was responsible for chalking our strategy for how Facebook works with startups in India. As a part of that role, she built several local and global programs that focused on emerging technologies (AI, AR/VR focused accelerators), women entrepreneurship (She Leads Tech initiative) & social impact (Code for Next Billion). Some of her portfolio companies include Plum (health insurance for startup employees), Clickpost (logistics-tech), Rupifi (credit for SMEs), WorkApps (enterprise collaboration tools), Chingari (social short video) etc. Shrishti pursued a dual degree in engineering & business management from University of Warwick and also attended Harvard University for a course. She has been awarded prestigious fellowships by the National Department of Science and Technology, Anita Borg Institute and the Motwani Jadeja Foundation.
