Sanil Sachar

Sanil Sachar is the co-founder and partner of Huddle, an entrepreneur, active angel investor, national best-selling author, and columnist based in New Delhi, India.

As part of their incubator, Huddle, Sanil works with the portfolio, to attain the short and long-term keenly focusing on the revenue strategy and growth.

He is also one of the co-owners of the global sports apparel brand Tru, and looks in the global strategy and the multi-sports growth of Trusox in India.

Sanil focusses his efforts to enable startups on their go-to-market strategies and revenue models as a base for their growth. He has previously worked as a product and revenue strategist with Star Sports on projects like the Cricket World Cup, creating the foundation plan for the Indian Super League, and Pro Kabaddi League.

A national best-selling author, he is one of the few writers in the country published in over 125 poems, 25 short stories, 2 scripts, and a novel, Sanil is internationally recognized for his work in all forms of literature. As a mentor to upcoming writers, he is on the continuous road to introducing new writers.

A sector agnostic investor, his portfolio consists of sports, media, arts, deep-tech, and consumer good companies, to name a few whom he provides early stage funding and strategic support to.

His investments spread to the film industry. Sanil is a co-producer, with his film ‘Mantra’ which obtained great critical acclaims and won the best film at the South Asian Film Festival in New York.

A guest columnist, he writes for the startup industry for the Entrepreneur Magazine, Huffington Post and Business World Disrupt, along with special features in other leading magazines, while work as an innovation and leadership coach has been utilised by global firms like JCB, Wipro, TCS.

Sanil spends most of his time with startups on strategy with an eye for integrations & tactical growth, and the rest outdoors, where he can be found playing a game of tennis or running.
