Nancy Marangu

Nancy Marangu is a communications & public policy analyst passionate to advocate for inclusion, gender and climate mainstreaming. She envisions an inclusive facilitative infrastructure that supports youth, women and persons with disabilities. In the last 13 years, my work experience in the areas of strategic communication, and development of concepts to enhance gender mainstreaming, entrepreneurship and risk management strategies has strengthened my research, planning, writing, administration, monitoring and reporting skills.

Nancy holds a BA Communication (Public Relations) and MBA (Strategic Management and Electronic Commerce).

Nancy has taught public speaking to over 50 students at the Nazarene University in Kenya. Recently, she was a panellist during a webinar organized by the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Kenya and the Inclusive Climate Change Adaptation for a Sustainable Africa (ICCASA) shared insights on “Missing in action using intersectionality lens to work with people living with disabilities in climate action”. Additionally, moderated the session on Amplifying African Women Voices in Climate Finance and the Green Climate Fund organized by ICCASA.
