She is an urban development expert passionate about participation in urban planning. She supports planning professionals and community leaders in developing and implementing participatory methods. Her investigative and culturally sensitive approach enables her to find tailor-made solutions for communities.

Her work is focused on projects in urban planning that promote participatory approaches. In 2017, She finished her Master’s degree in Global Urban Development and Planning at The University of Manchester.

Her experience includes:

  • Conceptualization and project management of cdmXberlin, a participatory initiative to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the city partnership between Mexico City and Berlin
  • Development of a risk communication strategy for local authorities (look up name) in Iztapalapa, Mexico City
  • Participatory mapping workshops in local communities to help residents come up with development ideas for their neighborhood
  • Finalizing a communication strategy for the project Participation.Urbanism.Interaction

Aside from consulting, She is also an urban journalist. My work has been published by Urbanet, Topos Magazine, the Urban Media Lab, TRIALOG and other outlets. I regularly publish articles on my blog, parCitypatory, sharing participatory methods and examples of successful urban improvement.

Her stories, as well as my consulting work, are unique because of her investigative and solutions-centered approach to urban planning. She works with NGOs, local authorities, and community leaders to inspire active participation in cities around the world.
