Ipshita is a Marketing Communications leader with over 20 years of international experience, working across markets in India, GCC, UK and SE Asia. She has a proven track record of creating impactful and award-winning campaigns, nurturing high performing teams and delivering exceptional business growth.
In 2018, Ipshita set up Engendered to address the problem of diversity & inclusion at the workplace & in communications. By giving women access to training, data, funding and business services solutions, Engendered empowers women across all age groups, helping them realize their full potential in the corporate world or as an entrepreneur. Engendered also works with corporate clients to recalibrate their marketing campaigns towards a more inclusive & purpose driven messaging.
Ipshita is also the President of the India chapter Global Women in PR. GWPR is an international network of senior women in Public Relations & Corporate Communications around the world, mentoring and supporting female talent in the industry, and helping nurture the next generation of leaders.
Prior to founding Engendered, Ipshita has worked for some of the world’s leading communications consultancies including stints at Edelman as National Director of Client Strategy, Leo Burnett where she led the mandate for P&G, & Y&R as Senior Strategic Planner. Ipshita has also led marketing communications for the Gulf Finance House Group as Executive Director & Head of Corporate Communications.
Ipshita’s career across multiple countries and cultures, along with her extensive experience in advertising, corporate communications, employee engagement and public relations ensures she always brings a very valuable perspective to the table. She speaks on a wide range of topics; from women’s empowerment to the future of work, to the various aspects of marketing communications.
