Dr. Mishma Stanislaus is currently working as a Research Associate at Indian Institute of Science. Mishma Stanislaus, started her career in renewable energy technologies, at the Tsukuba University in Japan, where she completed both her Master’s and PhD. Alongside research, she attained varied understanding on global negotiation, policy & planning, climate change and agriculture practices as part of my curriculum. Her interest in geopolitics and international relations, motivated her to take on a leading role in the local UN in Japan which at the time helped her to develop her managerial skills, but even more so, it greatly increased her understanding of intercultural relations, international dialog and policy-making. She also took up an internship at a Japanese start-up, as an opportunity to gain experience in the private sector and took on the responsibility of the company’s digital marketing and communication activities.
Right after returning to her home town, Bangalore, she got involved with an amazing initiative that helped local women entrepreneurs set up their business by helping them create websites and an online presence. In addition, she is appointed as the Chief Global Communication officer for CIMSME/GCPIT that works towards creating a one-stop platform for entrepreneurs and MSMEs
