Dr Faith Nwaobia’s journey towards self-discovering is rooted in vision, courage and determination.
A very humble beginning that started in his days as a classroom teacher earning less than 50 dollars (monthly) even as a graduate, as he continued Job hunting.
He later got employment with Union Bank of Nigeria after 6 years of job hunting – where he experienced unemployment first-hand.
For a more broad career path, Dr Faith left the banking industry after completing his Master’s degree and subsequently his PhD research in Economics and went back to build on his teaching skills as a Cambridge Economics Instructor while volunteering to lecture at National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), before joining Marleq – an international career coaching firm in Mauritius.
In March 2020 in the wake of the Covid19, the drive for creating a single platform that connects and empowers the youths primarily to fight youth unemployment led him to start YouthUp Global.
A global youth-based social enterprise in the business of developing human capital, creating and connecting social impactful opportunities and building empowerment platforms for youths in developing nations and fostering collaborative projects towards achieving the United Nations SDGs.
As a social impact leader, Dr Faith is leading a team of social entrepreneurs and advocates who collaborate with consultants to provide youth empowerment projects, social impact programs etc to various stakeholders including individuals, businesses, donor institutions, and governments.
As a social analyst and youth inclusion strategist, Dr. Faith is always available to discuss and to conduct research on social issues confronting youths, while advocating for youths inclusion under his self coined word 'Youthconomics' (The Economics of Youths) towards achieving a sustainable socio-economic development and a future of work advocate.
Dr. Faith is also the managing partner of Telemigrants, a social impact advocacy organization promoting employment inclusion for underserved communities through teleworking and remote work opportunities.
With Youthup Global, Dr. Faith is creating youth inclusive opportunities through collaborations and social impact initiatives like Utidia. A community that is supporting youths with empowerment programs geared towards addressing the problem of skill gaps and youth unemployment in developing countries.
Dr Faith wears the hats of a PanAfricanist, advocate, and impact speaker, having been featured with notable global thought leaders, sharing a stage with the likes of Prof. PLO LUMUMBA, (the voice of Africa) while discussing youth engagements and opportunities for the youths in Africa and globally.
In his positioning within the digital space, Dr Faith wears the hats of a digital selling consultant, LinkedIn brand strategist and LinkedIn coach with a growing team that works with both B2B and B2C brands to build positive online visibility, generate leads and close deals while leveraging LinkedIn.
Dr Faith supports brands to make a rewarding market entry into the African space with in-depth market research and market segmentation.
He also sits on different boards of startups offering business advice.
There are many awards in recognition of Dr Faith's contributions to humanity, notably is the Honorary Doctorate Degree from Global Oved University, USA.
