Noha Hefny

Founder & CEO, People of Impact and UN Women’s Senior Consultant leading Strategic Partnerships for the GCC.

Multi-award-winning humanitarian, corporate leader and serial social entrepreneur with 20 years of experience. Noha served the United Nations including UNHCR, UNESCO and UN Women. In the private sector, she held the role of regional director of corporate affairs, heading the communications and social responsibility departments of PepsiCo & McKinsey & Company, covering geographies including Eastern Europe, the Middle East & Africa.

Noha previously co-founded, She is Arab and Lit-creative, two startups that focus on women’s economic empowerment and ethical marketing. She is a Co-Author, board member and strategic advisor for several non-profit and social enterprise boards. Global Ambassador for Female Civility and Founding Member & Ambassador, Women Heart to Heart. Listed as one of the Top 100 Women in Social Enterprise by the European Euclid Network supported by the European Commission in 2021.

Experts for a good cause program
Objective: we used our network and power of our relationships to build a list of volunteer experts who can dedicate themselves to upskilling beneficiaries of different NGOs in different fields as well as social workers. The objectives were to provide job readiness or to strengthen the work of social innovators and social workers to deliver impact in communities that are most in need. That would in turn equip the people attending the program with skills that can help them sustain their livelihood or deliver strong impact to people they serve

We build different workshop sessions that are being delivered in partnership with different NGOs to support upskilling at grassroot levels. We reached 100 people to date and have run two cycles and plan to reach 10000 people by end of 2022. This was a self funded program as part of the company’s social responsibility and the program continues to grow
