    Founder Ida Nganga leads the award winning Regional Consortium (of Experts) for Development who use technology and engineering as an enabler for achieving the SDGs (RCD Africa).

    She sits on a number of steering committees as: Regional Representative, Anglophone Countries at UNESCO Emerging Technologies for Development which is based in Bordeaux, France; Global President, Startup Innovation at the Global Council for the Promotion of International Trade and Director General for Kenya; and on the Boards of the International Centre for Enterprise Development (ICED Digitizing Trade Taskforce) and the Globe Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

    She is on the advisory committees for the International Telecommunication Union (ITU)’s Digital Innovation Framework, Afrinic’s Government Engagement, ICANN’s Africa Strategy, Communications Authority’s Online Safety and the Global Peace Foundation’s Leap Innovation HUBS.

    She is Co-Chair, Internet for Development Global Community and its Internet for Education Lead. She is the former Chairman, Membership and Outreach Standing Committee for Kenya, for the Internet Society, the first woman to hold this position.
    She is a Tech for Good global partner on online safety & security, computer science education, and cloud solutions, as well as an Ambassador for Africa Code Week by SAP and UNESCO.

    She is committed to putting a spotlight on startup development, innovation, emerging technologies, technology transfer, gender inclusion, stakeholder engagement & intercontinental collaboration.

    Ida has a long track record in the use of ICT for massive developmental impact having received many accolades, such as IoT Innovation Award by European Union, Global Women in Leadership Award, African Leadership Top Award ‘Outstanding Mentor’, Timeless Woman Governance Award, Africa Fellow Regional Internet Development by Internet Society and Prolific Woman by United Nations & Mara Foundation to name a few.

    She is President of the Women in STEM Leaders Network; and an executive trainer in adaptive leadership, intrapreneurship, artificial versus emotional intelligence and strategic resilience, for technology and socio-economic impact driven organizations.

    She has trained and mentored many great innovators and helped in the digital transformation of larger organizations.

    Mentor Ida is a certified Carnegie leadership & management coach using the behavioral science approach, as well as a much sought after global speaker known for her oratory prowess.
