Hasini Lakshminarayanan

She is a 13-year-old Child Social Activist, the Youngest Freelance Writer for the Hindu in school, Founder- of The First Step, Board Member in Child Chapter NGO. Her mission is to empower Youth through her interviews and Seminars. She also works on creating awareness of the SDGs. She has 15 members in her Core Team and 100 plus Youth Ambassadors who support her mission.

1. Have done many workshops in schools in collaboration with MUN Impact. Recently did the 24-hour challenge.
2. From 5 schools, children participated and performed deeds and had 5 speakers who spoke about various DEEDs.
3. Her vision is to ensure people are aware of the SDGs, especially school children.
4. As of now they are using social media as a tool and is self-funded through sponsors.
5. They have created awareness to 1000 children about SDG 1, 2, 4 and 5.
6. Their major focus is on India, and she uses her LinkedIn as a tool for reaching out to principals/ Correspondents.
