Nomsa Olivia Nteleko was born in the village called Ntlaza in the Eastern Cape, She is from a family of 8 in the Ndlovu clan. She is a mother of a son called Nhlanhla Nteleko.
She is passionate about technology for the African continent. She believes technology is an enabler of solving many challenges businesses and communities face. She helps organizations with digital transformation to automate their processes through technology solutions ranging from ERP, Artificial Intelligence, RPA, Human Resources, Accounting Systems, Cloud and Business Management Systems. Through my ICT journey, She was fortunate enough for my company to be appointed as one of panel advisors by National Treasury South Africa for the integrated financial management systems and internal control systems for local government. This has given us a great opportunity to assist municipalities with mSCOA which is a standardized accounting system that aims to change how municipalities transact by standardizing financial management processes through policy formulation, budgeting, in-year reporting frameworks and statements. This reform provides for several mechanisms for strengthening accountability, facilitating budget reporting and adding value to the budget process to ultimately improve Service Delivery.
She is an award-winning businesswoman through Inspiring Fifty SA 2018, The project is an initiative of Inspiring Fifty, a non-profit that aims to increase diversity in tech by making role models more visible. She was also a runner-up for MTN Woman in ICT Change Awards in the category of entrepreneurship for 2016/17. She is a founder and CEO at OS Holdings, a software development company that is also a certified Sage Partner. She is a commercial director at Amathuba AI company that aims to be an aggregator of AI in the African continent. She believes is using technology to combat poverty and bring back humanity.
