Chief Operating Officer (COO) of LANSON TOYOTA (From September 2011 to December 2013):

Lanson Toyota is one of the largest automobile dealership groups in India for the world’s leading automobile brand–TOYOTA. The dealership group has 12operating outlets with a turnover of over Rs 900 Crores. Was leading 1400 people in the group covering all operational areas – sales, marketing, service, spares, customer relations, retail finance, insurance, accessories, pre-owned cars, finance & accounts, HR, IT, centralized contact centre, business expansion and administration.

Chief Information Officer (CIO) of TVS & Sons Limited(From August 2004 to August 2011):

TVS & Sons Limited is engaged in Dealership business (covering four wheelers of Honda, M&M, and commercial vehicles of Ashok Leyland), construction& material handling equipment, the Distribution business for automobile spare parts and multi-car servicing business including emergency roadside assistance services. The company's turnover is over Rs. 4500Crores per annum and employs about 3600 people. Responsibilities included IT strategy, IT policies, IT Roadmap, identification of appropriate technologies for business enhancement, business partnering, business process – data – IT governance, ROI on IT investments, ISO 27001 Certification, Bringing in the first ever ERP (Microsoft Dynamics AXAPTA) and complete organization transformation through IT (educating & training users and implementing IT). Implemented IT packages in overseas group companies as well.

Other earlier assignments:

1. Was in the IT field from November 1991 to July 2004. Have handled various roles such as business development, projects management, all India operations, franchisees management, systems & procedures implementation and coordination with overseas operations. Have served Organizations such as Rane Group, Ingram Micro, Transworld Information Systems etc.Positions held included Senior General Manager, Vice President and Senior Vice President.

Responsibilities included systems design and computerization, PPC (covering production planning, budgeting, capacity planning, sales coordination, export order processing & despatch) and industrial engineering.
